about

Through These Eyes comes from my view of the world and the way people communicate and treat one another. I had to suffer as a child and throughout my life. I watched my mom suffer for 30 years battling cancer. When you are introduced to adult circumstances at a young age it profoundly changes your perspective and forces maturity. I had to grow up fast. There are positives from this. I always have had a strong sense of justice and correction, especially when I do step into the world. What really opened my eyes came from my time working with the general public. I have come across many immature adults that are the creators of their own storms and strongholds. I have met many people with issues of the heart, and have encountered the denial that they cannot break free from. I had to realize that not everybody is going to see it my way. With that being said, my life and my story lead me to my own deliverance that in turn gave me authority over these things, like denial. I can only be a witness and share the good news. Why is it so hard for people to be loving? learning to appreciate people is something that I learned from the start. Learning to let go is also the other part of this. There are those who are not willing to change. Learning to let go and to not play God was a struggle of mine. I cared to a fault many times, but the older I got the more I learned to step away from what I cannot change. Even when it was painful to do so.

I’ve been working between my own home studio and a place called Mind Rocket with Josh Roman. I have had a lot of help from Josh Roman from Mind Rocket, we have a very professional relationship so if you would please go check out Mind Rocket Recording Studio in West Middle Sex Pennsylvania and give the page a like or subscribe. Josh is by far the best mixer/engineer I have ever worked with. This has been my first big undertaking as a producer/performer and a composer, and my first steps as a recording artist. I am very proud of these songs I hope you guys dig it.

lyrics

For so many years
So many times I tried to see
how can I give back
What they take from me
Oh it burdens my soul
I don’t trust anyone at all

When the world doesn’t care to see
They won’t care what becomes of me

Looking through these eyes
I can see the darker side of you
Now I understand
You can’t control whats out of your hands

The things I’ve done to forget you
The memories remain
I will reject my heart
To bury all my pain
You know I can’t move on when your still bringing up the past
I’m torn apart
How much longer will I last

Looking through these eyes
I can see the darker side of you
Now I understand
You can’t control whats out of your hands

All that we know
All that we are
Is a world of broken hopes and sorrows
Forgotten tomorrows
Where will you run
Where will you go
I can make a way for change

Looking through these eyes
I have seen a better point of view
Don’t you understand
You can change before it claims you too
